Congratualations to Aman and Anu on their Org. Lett. publication and the first from the group.

 This communication describes the first photocatalytic C-H functionalization of simple tertiary aliphatic amines, something that had been almost exclusively performed with isoquinoline  and analine derivatives, to access biologically active a-azole carbinamines directly from 2-chloroazoles and amines.  This reaction will enable much more rapid and diverse SAR of this motif, commonly found as Nature as post-translationally modified peptides.  "Photoredox-Mediated C–H Functionalization and Coupling of Tertiary Aliphatic Amines with 2-Chloroazoles"
