Omar Ameen Selected for Prestigious Summer Research Program

Weavers Lab is proud to announce that Omar Ameen has been selected to participate in the highly competitive Summer Research Opportunity Program (SROP) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison for Summer 2026.

Hosted through the university’s Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) in Chemistry & Bioengineering, this program provides students with the opportunity to engage in advanced research, gain hands-on laboratory experience, and collaborate with leading scientists in their field. Omar’s selection reflects his strong academic record, research potential, and commitment to excellence in chemistry. Participation in this program will allow Omar to further develop his research skills while expanding his academic and professional network.
